Sometimes even the best builders run out of ideas!! These are some silly ideas that might just help! I only ask you credit me and please let me know if you decide to tackle any of these! I will likely be adding to this list, so also be sure to check for updates!
Quick Build Ideas!
· Snapshot Build: Make a room or a build that shows where you live right now, but also how the room LOOKS, including clutter etc. Connect a story with it.
· Nightmare Room: Design a bedroom in a style and features you would abhor! Make sure to include as many features as you hate as possible
· Opposite Roommates: Make a bedroom or apartment with roommates with opposite styles & personalities—the more contrast the better!
· By the decade: Make a house with every room featuring a different decade. Or recreate the same room in multiple decades
· Around the world: Make a home with each representing a different country
· None of my favorites: Create a home or community lot using NONE of your favorite items
· Every Single Item: A build using every single item from one pack! You may use base game only to fill in for essentials and must use every item including paint swatches, etc. Check out my GF build video on my channel for an example, or Lady Andrak’s GTW one
· All in one: Combine the most popular challenges into one: solid color, budget, and timed!
· Sepia: Use only gray, white and black for everything. Add some black and white photos for extra effect. The only exception is landscaping.
· Animal themed: Build something around a single, or multiple animals
· Kid designs my build: Inspired by Plumbella. Either have a kid make your choices, or design a house as if a kid made all the choices! Crazy colors encouraged
· All my pet peeves: See something in other builds the irks you? Do it yourself on purpose, and do as many as you can
· Rainbow house: Fairly basic and likely done by many; create a home with every room representing a color of the rainbow. Colors cannot repeat.
· Product placement: Design a house based off a certain product, or many products. It can just be color inspired, or if you use cc, include the actual logos.
· My childhood favorites: Design what would have been a dream home or lot when you were a child
· Cheapskate mansion: Build a mansion for as cheap as you can. The bigger & cheaper the better
· Luxury/ most expensive tiny home: Build the smallest home you can and make it as expensive as possible
